While working for ACER, I designed the cover and text layout for Young Children Learning Mathematics. I started by taking a photograph of a child’s toy, that young children might play with, which included numbers. Typography that represents children and mathematics with the bright, clean colours of the toy helps to bring all the elements together. In designing the layout of the publication I kept the elements simple and clean.
