Pharos is a book that shines a light on modern greek in contemporary Australia. So for the image on the front cover I used a photograph of the Lighthouse Tourlitis of Chora, Andros Island, Cyclades, Greece. The gold colour of the title and author name ties in nicely with the blue sky and ocean.

Inside I have used a san serif font for the headings and a serif font for the body of the text. I also created any illustrations in the book.
